Raeven and Passionbugs both sell adult toys in the UK, but choosing between them isn't quite as simple as comparing prices.

Raeven focuses mainly on men's sex toys, with affordable essentials, rechargeable devices and its own CORE and FJORD ranges. Passionbugs takes a broader approach, offering everything from male masturbators and cock rings to vibrators, lingerie and products from established brands such as Satisfyer, LELO and TENGA.

So, is Raeven better than Passionbugs, or does Passionbugs offer more for your money?

We compared their product selections, actual prices, features, UK delivery options and returns policies. The differences are worth knowing, especially if you're shopping for a particular type of toy rather than simply looking for the biggest catalogue.

What Are Raeven and Passionbugs?

Raeven: A Men's Sexual Wellness Retailer

Raeven is a UK adult toy retailer concentrating on men's pleasure products. Its catalogue includes male masturbators, cock rings, prostate massagers, anal toys, penis pumps and accessories.

Its CORE range includes manual toys, smaller devices and practical bundles. The Raeven FJORD collection focuses on products with additional functions, including rechargeable motors, remote controls and automatic movement.

What makes Raeven appealing is that you can compare basic and more advanced options without browsing through numerous unrelated categories.

Passionbugs: A Broader Adult Toy Retailer

Passionbugs is also a UK-based online adult retailer, but its catalogue covers more types of products.

Alongside men's toys, it sells vibrators, dildos, lingerie, bondage accessories, lubricants and couples' products. You'll also find recognizable manufacturers such as Satisfyer, TENGA, Fleshlight, LELO and SVAKOM.

That's useful if you already have a favourite manufacturer or want to shop for several different types of products in one order.

The biggest difference between Raeven and Passionbugs isn't necessarily quality. It's how each store approaches product choice.

Product Selection: Which Store Offers More Choice?

Men's Sex Toys and Accessories

Raeven has a more concentrated selection of men's products, particularly prostate massagers, strokers, cock rings and anal toys.

One advantage is the availability of products at different levels of complexity.

For example, the Kvist 7-Function Vibrating Butt Plug offers a relatively straightforward vibrating option. The Malm Remote Controlled Prostate Massager combines internal stimulation, an integrated cock ring and wireless controls.

Raeven also offers bundles and kits, which can be useful if you're purchasing several complementary products.

Passionbugs covers many of the same men's categories but provides more third-party brands. It carries products from specialist manufacturers, including models with interactive features and app connectivity.

Our assessment: Raeven is particularly worth considering for a focused men's toy purchase. Passionbugs offers more choice across manufacturers and the wider adult product market.

Products for Couples and Other Categories

Passionbugs has the advantage for shoppers looking beyond men's toys.

Its selection includes extensive vibrator categories, lingerie, strap-ons and bondage equipment. If you're buying several different products for yourself and a partner, the broader catalogue can be convenient.

Raeven also carries accessories and selected couples' products, but men's sexual wellness remains its main focus.

For this category, Passionbugs offers greater breadth.

Product Quality and Features: How Do They Compare?

Materials, Design and Product Information

Both retailers sell products made with materials such as silicone, TPE and ABS plastic, depending on the device. Passionbugs also offers glass toys and other specialist designs.

The material matters because it affects firmness, flexibility, cleaning requirements and compatibility with lubricants.

Raeven's product pages are particularly useful when comparing technical details. Many list dimensions, materials, vibration functions, power sources and cleaning instructions.

For example, the Malm prostate massager specifies its insertable length, two-motor configuration, ten vibration modes and USB-rechargeable power. These details help you judge whether its size and functions match what you want.

Passionbugs also publishes specifications on individual listings, especially for branded products.

However, a longer list of functions doesn't automatically mean a better toy. Motor performance, comfort, fit and long-term durability cannot be established from product descriptions alone.

Rechargeable, Remote-Controlled and App-Connected Toys

Both stores offer devices with features beyond manual operation.

Raeven's FJORD range includes products such as rechargeable cock rings, automatic masturbators and remote-controlled prostate massagers.

Passionbugs provides similar categories alongside app-connected devices from manufacturers such as SVAKOM.

The distinction matters. A physical remote may suit someone who wants straightforward control without using a phone. An app-connected toy may be more appealing for interactive features or long-distance partner control.

Neither approach is automatically better. It depends on how you intend to use the product.

Raeven vs Passionbugs: Which Offers Better Value?

This is where comparing actual products becomes more useful than comparing store descriptions.

Below are four examples from both retailers, using their listed product prices in October 2026.

Product category	Raeven example	Passionbugs example
Vibrating cock ring	Strom — £27.99	Satisfyer Legendary Duo — £29.99
Anal toy set	Traina 4-Piece Set — £12.99	Pink Gem Glass Set — £22.79
Advanced male masturbator	Rev Turbor — £89.99	SVAKOM Sam Neo 2 — £79.99
Remote-controlled prostate toy	Malm — £54.99	A directly matched current price was not confirmed

These products have different specifications, so the cheaper option isn't necessarily the better purchase.

1. Vibrating Cock Rings: Raeven Strom vs Satisfyer Legendary Duo

The Raeven Strom Rechargeable Vibrating Cock Ring costs £27.99 and provides ten vibration functions, including three steady speeds and seven patterns.

It's made from flexible silicone, charges through USB and uses a single-button control system.

Passionbugs sells the Satisfyer Legendary Duo for £29.99. This model features twelve vibration settings, a double-ring design and waterproof construction.

Raeven is £2 cheaper, and the Strom offers a straightforward rechargeable option without unnecessary complexity.

However, the Satisfyer provides additional settings, a different ring configuration and an explicitly stated waterproof rating.

Which is better? Raeven Strom is worth considering if you prefer a simpler design at a slightly lower price. The Satisfyer may justify its small additional cost if its double-ring design is what you're looking for.

2. Anal Toy Sets: Raeven Traina vs Pink Gem Glass Set

The Raeven Traina 4-Piece Anal Training Set costs £12.99 and includes four silicone butt plugs with different measurements.

Each plug has a tapered tip and an external retrieval handle, and the set requires no batteries or charging.

Passionbugs sells a three-piece Pink Gem Glass Butt Plug Set for £22.79. These rigid glass plugs feature decorative pink jewel bases and can also be used for temperature play, with appropriate precautions.

Raeven's set costs £9.80 less and includes one additional piece.

But the products serve somewhat different preferences. Silicone provides flexibility, while glass offers a firmer surface and different temperature properties.

Which is better? Raeven offers the more affordable silicone training set. Passionbugs is worth considering if you specifically prefer decorative glass toys.

For shoppers exploring this category, Raeven's wider anal toy collection also includes beads, plugs and vibrating options.

3. Advanced Male Masturbators: Rev Turbor vs SVAKOM Sam Neo 2

The Raeven Rev Turbor Thrusting and Vibrating Male Masturbator is listed at £89.99.

Its main feature is automatic back-and-forth movement, with three thrust speeds, four vibration patterns and an additional turbo function. It also has a removable TPE sleeve for separate cleaning.

Passionbugs lists the SVAKOM Sam Neo 2 at £79.99 on its product page.

The SVAKOM takes a different approach, combining suction, vibration and app-controlled functions. It supports interactive features and remote adjustments through a connected device.

There's a £10 difference in Passionbugs' favour based on those product-page prices.

But comparing them purely by price would miss the point.

If automatic thrusting is the feature you want, the Raeven Rev Turbor is the more relevant choice. If app connectivity and suction matter more, the SVAKOM may suit you better.

Which is better? There isn't a universal winner here. Raeven offers a specific mechanical function, while Passionbugs provides a less expensive app-connected alternative with different stimulation features.

4. Remote-Controlled Prostate Toys: Raeven Malm

One of Raeven's more interesting products is the Malm Remote Controlled Prostate Massager with Cock Ring, priced at £54.99.

It combines an insertable prostate section and an integrated silicone cock ring, supported by two motors and ten vibration modes. A wireless remote allows adjustments during use, and the toy is USB rechargeable.

The listed insertable length is 9 cm, which is useful information for shoppers comparing dimensions.

Passionbugs offers remote-controlled prostate toys as well, but prices and functions vary by model. Without a confirmed like-for-like listing, it's not reasonable to declare Malm cheaper than every Passionbugs alternative.

What makes Malm appealing is the number of clearly specified functions available for £54.99.

The value verdict: Raeven offers several competitively priced men's products, especially in its simpler toy sets and selected rechargeable devices. Passionbugs can be cheaper on certain advanced products, so checking individual specifications remains important.

UK Delivery and Discreet Packaging Compared

Shipping Costs and Delivery Times

Both Raeven and Passionbugs offer free standard UK delivery on orders of £40 or more.

For orders below that amount, Raeven charges £4.49 for standard delivery, with a stated three-to-four-day aim. Passionbugs charges £4.99 for standard Royal Mail delivery, estimated at two to three working days.

Raeven also offers a £6.99 two-day service and a £7.99 next-day option.

Passionbugs offers Royal Mail Tracked 1 Day for £5.99 and a next-day-by-1pm service for £7.99, subject to availability and location.

Passionbugs currently publishes a later weekday same-day dispatch cut-off: 5:30pm compared with Raeven's 1pm.

One useful Raeven option is delivery to a parcel pick-up point, with collection generally available within two to three working days.

So, while Passionbugs has an advantage on its published delivery speeds, Raeven's collection option may appeal to shoppers who prefer not to receive an order at home.

You can check the complete Raeven shipping policy before ordering.

How Discreet Are Their Deliveries?

Privacy is an important consideration when buying adult toys, and both retailers take it seriously.

Raeven states that orders arrive in plain, unmarked packaging without the brand name or product details on the outside. Its payment reference appears as RVN RETAIL.

Passionbugs also uses plain packaging, with PB Online appearing on bank statements.

Neither retailer has a clear advantage based on these published packaging policies.

Returns and Customer Support: Which Store Is Better?

Returns are one area where Passionbugs has a measurable advantage.

Raeven's main returns policy allows eligible returns to be initiated within 28 days of receiving the products. Returned items must generally remain unused, unopened and in their original sealed packaging.

Passionbugs offers a 60-day returns window measured from the order date, along with free return postage. It also advertises a 12-month product warranty.

Both retailers impose hygiene restrictions on opened intimate products, with separate provisions for faulty goods.

You can read Raeven's returns and hygiene policy for the specific conditions.

Customer service is another difference. Raeven provides email, telephone and contact-form support. Passionbugs provides those options alongside live chat, advertised from 8am to 8pm daily.

For customers who value a longer returns window and extended support availability, Passionbugs currently has the stronger published offering.

Shopping Experience: Which Website Is Easier to Use?

Raeven's website organizes many products around men's needs, with dedicated collections for cock rings, prostate massagers, anal toys and masturbators.

Its product listings often include detailed dimensions, features and maintenance instructions, making technical comparisons easier.

Passionbugs provides extensive category navigation, filters and individual brand collections, which are helpful if you know which manufacturer you're interested in.

The trade-off is straightforward.

Raeven offers a more concentrated browsing experience for its core audience, while Passionbugs provides more opportunities to compare different brands and product types.

Both sites publish product information and buying guidance. Neither can be declared objectively easier to use without direct usability testing.
